Theorealize Past Lull: Konami is replacing misprinted Chaos Origins copies

A translation error made it into Theorealize Past Lull in Chaos Origins. Konami says the English, Spanish and Portuguese printings have incorrect card text, and it’s exchanging affected cards for corrected ones.

The problem is one word. The printed text asks you to control an “Artmage”, “DoomZ” or “Elfnote” monster. It should say card. That difference matters: with the printed wording, a DoomZ trap in your backrow wouldn’t count, while the corrected text lets any card of those archetypes qualify.

Konami is offering the exchange at one-for-two: turn in one affected card and receive two corrected cards of the same rarity. Only English, Spanish and Portuguese printings are eligible.

Two ways to do it:

  • In person at Tier 3 events. Bring your original card to tournament staff at upcoming in-person Tier 3 events; replacements have been available since September 2026, and the last chance to exchange is the North America WCQ 2027.
  • By mail through Konami Customer Service. If you can’t make an event, contact Konami support and put “Theorealize Past Lull replacement request” in the subject line of your email.

If you pulled or bought this card and play it, it’s worth swapping before the exchange window closes.
