A Normal Trap. Pay 2000 LP and reveal your hand, then look at your opponent's hand and banish 1 card from it until their next End Phase.
It can't be used in Advanced Format: it's Forbidden in the TCG as of the Sept 21, 2026 list.
- Putting it in an Advanced Format deck. It's Forbidden.
- Activating it with an empty hand. You need cards to reveal.
How it works
Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format.
Appointer of the Red Lotus is a Normal Trap. Pay 2000 LP and reveal all cards in your hand. Look at your opponent’s hand and select 1 card; banish it until your opponent’s next End Phase.
Rulings in plain English
Cost: Paying 2000 LP and revealing your whole hand are the cost. You can’t activate it with no cards in hand, or if any card in your hand is already revealed. Not in the Damage Step.
Return: The card comes back to your opponent’s hand in their next End Phase after this resolves. No chain is made.
