Rulings in plain English

Order: Summon first. Only if it worked does the Battle Phase end. Not simultaneous. Ending the Battle Phase moves to the End Step.

Banish clause: Applies while it’s face-up in the Monster Zone. It stops applying if it becomes Xyz Material, is treated as a Spell/Trap, or is turned face-down.
