Explained

What it does

A Level 8 Synchro. When Synchro Summoned, equip a Link Monster from your GY and place Borrel Counters equal to its Link Rating. It gains half that monster's ATK, and once per turn can remove a counter to negate your opponent's activation.

Play it when

It can't be used in Advanced Format: it's Forbidden in the TCG as of the Sept 21, 2026 list.

Common mistakes
  • Putting it in an Advanced Format deck. It's Forbidden.

How it works

Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format.

Materials: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters.

  • When Synchro Summoned: Equip 1 Link Monster from your GY to this card, and if you do, place Borrel Counters on it equal to that monster’s Link Rating.
  • Continuous: Gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the monster equipped by its effect.
  • Quick Effect (once per turn): When your opponent activates a card or effect, remove 1 Borrel Counter; negate the activation.

Rulings in plain English

Equip: Doesn’t target. The equip and the counters happen at the same time. The Link Monster goes to your Spell & Trap Zone as an Equip Spell.

Negate: Chain directly to your opponent’s activation. Removing the counter is a cost. It doesn’t target and can be used in the Damage Step.
