A Quick-Play Spell. Activate it only as Chain Link 2 or higher; inflict 400 damage times its Chain Link number. You can't activate it if the chain already has multiple cards/effects with the same name.
In burn decks, as its only copy. It's Limited in the TCG.
- Activating it as Chain Link 1. You can't.
- Activating it in a chain that has the same card name used twice.
Status: Limited in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so you can run 1 copy.
How it works
Chain Strike is a Quick-Play Spell. Activate it only as Chain Link 2 or higher; inflict 400 damage to your opponent times its Chain Link number. You can’t activate it if multiple cards/effects with the same name are in that chain.
Rulings in plain English
Damage: As Chain Link 2, it deals 800. It doesn’t target. Not in the Damage Step.
Same-name rule: A card’s activation and an effect activation of a card with the same name in one chain count as multiple uses of that name, so Chain Strike can’t be activated.
