Explained
What it does
If only your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.
Play it when
Going second, when your opponent has monsters and you have none, as a free 2100 ATK monster or material.
Common mistakes
- Trying to summon it when you control a monster too.
How it works
If only your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon Cyber Dragon from your hand. This isn’t an Ignition, Trigger, Quick or Continuous Effect, and it doesn’t start a chain.
When to use it
It’s a Level 5 with 2100 ATK that doesn’t use your Normal Summon. Cyber Dragon decks use it as material for Fusion and Xyz Monsters, and many cards treat other monsters as “Cyber Dragon”. It first released in the TCG in 2005.
