Each player can Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster monster from their hand or Deck (but neither player can activate their effects this turn), then if you Special Summoned a monster whose original name is "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl", you can add 1 Spell/Trap that mentions "Dark Magician" from your Deck to your hand, except "Dark Magical Curtain". You can only activate 1 "Dark Magical Curtain" per turn.

Explained
Each player can Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster from their hand or Deck (their effects can't be activated this turn). If you summoned "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl", you can then add a Spell/Trap that mentions "Dark Magician" from your Deck.
In Dark Magician decks to put Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl on the field from the Deck and search a support card.

How it works
Dark Magical Curtain is a Quick-Play Spell. Each player can Special Summon 1 DARK Spellcaster monster from their hand or Deck, but neither player can activate those monsters’ effects this turn. Then, if you Special Summoned a monster whose original name is “Dark Magician” or “Dark Magician Girl”, you can add 1 Spell/Trap that mentions “Dark Magician” from your Deck to your hand, except “Dark Magical Curtain”. You can only activate 1 per turn.
When to use it
It turns one card into Dark Magician on the field plus a Dark Magician support card. As a Quick-Play, it can be used on your opponent’s turn to get a monster out at an unexpected time. It released in the TCG in September 2026.
Rulings in plain English
Who decides first? The turn player decides whether to summon and does so; then the other player decides. The two summons count as simultaneous.
Is the search simultaneous with the summon? No, it comes after.
When does the “can’t activate effects” restriction end? For a monster that stops being face-up in the Monster Zone.
