Negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls until the end of the turn; your opponent takes no damage for the rest of the turn. Neither player can activate monster effects in response.
Going second to break through a board of monster effects, accepting you can't deal damage that turn.
- Expecting to win that turn with damage. Your opponent takes no damage after it resolves.
- Expecting it to affect monsters summoned after it resolves.
How it works
Dark Ruler No More is a Normal Spell. Negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls until the end of the turn. For the rest of the turn after it resolves, your opponent takes no damage. Neither player can activate monster effects in response to its activation.
When to use it
It turns off an entire board of monster effects at once, and nothing monster-based can respond. The no-damage clause means it’s for breaking boards, not finishing duels.

What if a negated monster leaves as a cost for its own effect? The effect is still negated.
