Explained

What it does

Special Summon it from your hand by sending 1 card from your hand or field to the GY. When Normal or Special Summoned, Set a "Sinful Spoils" Spell/Trap from your Deck. If it's sent from its owner's hand or field to the GY during the opponent's turn, send a card to Special Summon it.

Play it when

In Sinful Spoils decks, and splashed into others, as a self-summoning monster that Sets a Sinful Spoils card from the Deck.

Common mistakes
  • Expecting the GY effect if it went from your opponent's field to your GY. It must be sent from its owner's hand or field.
  • Thinking the cost card was sent by an effect. Sending a card to summon it isn't a card effect.

How it works

  • Self-summon: Special Summon it from your hand by sending 1 card from your hand or field to the GY (once per turn this way).
  • When Normal or Special Summoned: Set 1 “Sinful Spoils” Spell/Trap directly from your Deck.
  • From the GY: During your opponent’s turn, if this card is sent from its owner’s hand or field to the GY, send 1 card from your hand or field to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon this card.

Each of the last two effects is once per turn.

When to use it

It’s a free summon that immediately Sets a Sinful Spoils card, which is why it shows up beyond Sinful Spoils decks.

Rulings in plain English

Self-summon: Not an Ignition, Trigger, Quick or Continuous Effect. Sending the card and the summon aren’t simultaneous, and the sent card isn’t sent “by a card effect”. If the summon is negated, you can try again that turn.

Set effect: Can be used in the Damage Step.

GY effect: Only if it went from its original owner’s hand or field to their GY during that owner’s opponent’s turn. Sending the card and the summon are simultaneous. Usable in the Damage Step.
