What it does
Any monster sent to the Graveyard is banished instead.
Play it when

Common mistakes
- Expecting it to banish Xyz Materials. Those still go to the GY.
- Expecting it to banish Spells and Traps. It only affects monsters.
How it works
Dimensional Fissure is a Continuous Spell. Any monster sent to the GY is banished instead.
Rulings in plain English
Not activated: It applies while face-up in the Spell & Trap Zone.
Who and where: Both players’ monsters, sent from the field, hand, or Deck. Spells and Traps go to the GY normally.
Spell & Trap Zone: It doesn’t apply to monster cards sent from the Spell & Trap Zone (including Pendulum Zones). Pendulum Monsters from there go face-up to the Extra Deck instead.
Xyz Materials: Go to the GY as normal.
