Can be treated as 2 materials for the Xyz Summon of a "Number" Xyz Monster that requires 3 or more materials.

Explained
If you control no monsters or only "Umbral Horror" monsters, Special Summon it from your hand and add 1 non-Rock Umbral Horror monster. It can count as 2 materials for a "Number" Xyz needing 3+. You can only Special Summon "Number" Xyz Monsters from the Extra Deck.
In Umbral Horror and Number Xyz decks as a starter.
- Summoning non-Number monsters from the Extra Deck while it's on the field. You can't.
How it works
- Continuous: You can’t Special Summon from the Extra Deck, except “Number” Xyz Monsters.
- Ignition (from the hand): If you control no monsters, or all your monsters are “Umbral Horror” monsters, Special Summon this card, and if you do, add 1 non-Rock “Umbral Horror” monster from your Deck to your hand.
- Material: It can be treated as 2 materials for the Xyz Summon of a “Number” Xyz Monster that needs 3 or more materials.
You can only use each of these effects once per turn.
Rulings in plain English
Summon and search: The search only happens if it was summoned. The two count as simultaneous.
Double material: Once attached, it counts as 1 material for counting and detaching.
