Explained
Special Summoned from your hand to your opponent's field by summoning 2 "Grinder Tokens" in Attack Position on your field. You can't Normal Summon or Set the turn you Special Summon it.
It can't be used in Advanced Format. It's Forbidden in the TCG.
- Summoning it after you already Normal Summoned that turn. You can't.
Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format.
How it works
Can’t be Normal Summoned/Set. Special Summon it from your hand to your opponent’s field by Special Summoning 2 “Grinder Tokens” (Fiend/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in face-up Attack Position on your field. If you Special Summon it, you can’t Normal Summon or Set that turn.
Rulings in plain English
Summon: Not an effect. The tokens come first, then Grinder Golem; not at the same time. Once properly summoned, it can later be revived from the GY.
Normal Summon rule: Not an effect. You can’t use this summon if you already Normal Summoned that turn. It also applies if Grinder Golem is Special Summoned by another card’s effect.
Effects: It’s treated as an Effect Monster but has no effects.
