Explained
A Link-2 of 2 Dragons. Once per opponent's turn, in the Extra Monster Zone, Tribute a monster from your hand or field to return a face-up card to the hand. When this card is Tributed, Special Summon a Dragon from your hand or Deck with 0 ATK/DEF.
In Hieratic and Dragon decks as disruption that also feeds Tribute effects.
- Using the bounce while it's in a Main Monster Zone. It must be in the Extra Monster Zone.
How it works
Materials: 2 Dragon monsters.
- Quick Effect (once per opponent’s turn, in the Extra Monster Zone): Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field; return 1 face-up card on the field to the hand. Not in the Damage Step.
- If this card is Tributed (once per turn): Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck, but its ATK/DEF become 0.
Rulings in plain English
Bounce: The Tribute is a cost; a face-down monster works. You choose the card when it resolves, so it doesn’t target. A Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster goes back to its owner’s Extra Deck.
Tributed: Mandatory, even in the Damage Step. It activates wherever it went: the GY, or face-up banishment.
