How it works

Jowgen the Spiritualist is a Level 3 LIGHT Spellcaster.

Ignition: Discard 1 random card from your hand; destroy all Special Summoned monsters on the field.
Continuous: Neither player can Special Summon monsters.

Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format.

Rulings in plain English

Destroy: The random discard is a cost. It doesn’t target, hits both sides, and includes face-down Special Summoned monsters.
