Explained
A Level 1 Kewl Tune Tuner. When it's used as Synchro Material from the field, a Tuner in your hand can be another material. Reveal it with a Tuner to Normal Summon a Tuner, and when it's sent to the GY as Synchro Material, bottom-deck a card from your opponent's GY or look at their hand and search a Kewl Tune Spell/Trap.
It can't be used in Advanced Format: it's Forbidden in the TCG as of the Sept 21, 2026 list.
- Putting it in an Advanced Format deck. It's Forbidden.
- Using the GY effect when the Synchro Summon it was material for didn't succeed.
How it works
Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format. It’s new to the list this time.
- Hand material: If this card on the field is used as Synchro Material, 1 Tuner in your hand can be used as one of the other materials.
- Ignition, from the hand: Reveal this card and 1 Tuner in your hand; immediately after this resolves, Normal Summon 1 Tuner.
- Sent to the GY as Synchro Material: Choose 1: place 1 card from your opponent’s GY on the bottom of their Deck, or look at your opponent’s hand, then you can add 1 “Kewl Tune” Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand.
The last two effects are each once per turn.
Rulings in plain English
Hand material: Not treated as an effect, so it still works even if this card’s effects are negated.
Normal Summon: Happens right after that chain link resolves.
GY effect: Only if the Synchro Summon it was used for succeeded. You pick the option when you activate it.
Looking at the hand: Needs your opponent to have a hand. You look at their whole hand first; only then can you search, and the two aren’t simultaneous. If their hand is empty when it resolves, nothing happens.
