Explained

What it does

A Level 1 monster. From the GY, target a Level 5 or higher monster you control, reduce its Level by 1, and Special Summon this card. While face-up on the field, it can only be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.

Play it when

It can't be used in Advanced Format; it's Forbidden in the TCG.

Common mistakes

Tributing it face-up for a card effect. Only a Tribute Summon can use it.

How it works

Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format.

Ignition, in the GY: Target 1 Level 5 or higher monster you control; reduce its Level by 1, and if you do, Special Summon this card.
Continuous: While face-up on the field, it can’t be Tributed except for a Tribute Summon.

Rulings in plain English

Tribute limit: A Continuous Effect. Face-down, or in the hand, it can still be Tributed for costs and effects.

GY effect: Targets a face-up Level 5+ monster you control. Lowering the Level and summoning happen at the same time.
