When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 material from this card; change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation. If another face-up Xyz Monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; it gains ATK equal to 1 of those destroyed monster's original ATK.

Explained
A Rank 8 Xyz. Once per turn, negate a Spell effect activated on the field and attach that card as material. Detach 1 to redirect an opponent's attack to itself. When another face-up Xyz Monster you control is destroyed, an Xyz you control gains its original ATK.
In Rank 8 decks as a boss that answers Spells and protects your other monsters from attacks.

How it works
Materials: 2 Level 8 monsters.
- Quick Effect (once per turn): When a Spell Card or effect is activated on the field, negate that effect, and if you do, attach that card to this card as material. Not in the Damage Step.
- When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: Detach 1 material; change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation.
- If another face-up Xyz Monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; it gains ATK equal to 1 destroyed monster’s original ATK.
Rulings in plain English
Spell negation: Chain directly to the activation. It also works on Pendulum Monsters activated in the Pendulum Zone and their Pendulum effects. The card is attached only if the negation worked; if this card left the field, you only negate. It still resolves fully if this card is face-down.
Redirect: If this card left the field, there’s a replay and your opponent picks a new target or stops attacking. If it’s face-down, it’s flipped and the battle happens. Nothing happens if the attack was already negated.
ATK boost: This card must be face-up on your field when the Xyz is destroyed. Only Xyz Monsters destroyed in the Monster Zone count, whether they went to the GY, Extra Deck face-up or banishment. After a battle, it activates at the end of the Damage Step.
