What it does
Send 1 monster from your hand to the GY as a cost, then Special Summon 1 Level 1 monster from your hand or Deck.
Play it when
In decks with useful Level 1 monsters, to put one on the field and a monster in the GY at once.
Common mistakes
- Sending your only Level 1 as the cost when there's none in your Deck. You can't.
How it works
One for One is a Normal Spell. Send 1 monster from your hand to the GY; Special Summon 1 Level 1 monster from your hand or Deck.
Rulings in plain English
Cost: Sending the monster is a cost, paid when you activate.
Must be able to resolve: You need a Level 1 left to summon after paying. If your Deck has no Level 1 and you have just one in hand, you can’t send that one as the cost.
