Explained
At the start of your Main Phase 1, banish 3 or 6 random face-down cards from your Extra Deck face-down to draw 1 card per 3 banished. You can't draw by card effects for the rest of the turn.
In decks that don't need much of their Extra Deck, as card draw.
- Activating it after doing anything in Main Phase 1. It's only at the start.
- Planning other draw effects that turn.
How it works
Pot of Extravagance is a Normal Spell. At the start of your Main Phase 1, banish 3 or 6 random face-down cards from your Extra Deck, face-down, as the cost. Draw 1 card for every 3 banished. For the rest of the turn, you can’t draw cards by card effects.
When to use it
Decks with a light Extra Deck can trade cards they won’t use for draws.
