Explained

What it does

A Link-2 of 2 Effect Monsters. With 3 or fewer Spells in your GY, send a "Sky Striker" card from your Deck to the GY. When sent to the GY, Special Summon it to your opponent's field and send one of their monsters to the GY; it comes back to you in the End Phase.

Play it when

In Sky Striker decks to fill the GY with Spells and remove a monster.

Common mistakes
  • Expecting the GY effect if it went straight from the Extra Deck to the GY. It must have been properly summoned first.
  • Using the GY effect after already Special Summoning a Camellia that turn.

How it works

Materials: 2 Effect Monsters. Must first be Link Summoned. You can only Special Summon “Sky Striker Ace - Camellia” once per turn.

  • Ignition (once per turn): If you have 3 or fewer Spells in your GY, send 1 “Sky Striker” card from your Deck to the GY.
  • If sent to the GY: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; Special Summon this card to your opponent’s field (control returns to its owner in the End Phase), and if you do, send the target to the GY. Usable in the Damage Step.

Rulings in plain English

GY effect: Only after it was properly Link Summoned. You perform the summon, so it counts toward your once-per-turn Camellia limit.

Simultaneous: The summon and sending the target are treated as happening together. It returns to you in the End Phase as long as it stays face-up.

Revival: Once Link Summoned, it can be revived from the GY or face-up banishment by other effects.
