Explained
Reveal a monster in your hand and pick a monster in your Deck that shares exactly 1 of Type, Attribute, Level, ATK or DEF, banishing the revealed one face-down. Then add a monster from your Deck that shares exactly 1 of those with the Deck monster, and banish the Deck monster face-down.
In any deck to turn an unneeded monster into the monster you want, through a 'bridge' card in your Deck.
- Picking cards that share 2 or more stats. Each step needs exactly one match.
- Forgetting both the revealed card and the bridge card are banished face-down.
How it works
Small World is a Normal Spell:
- Reveal 1 monster in your hand.
- Choose 1 monster in your Deck that has exactly 1 of the same Type, Attribute, Level, ATK or DEF. Banish the revealed card from your hand face-down.
- Add from your Deck 1 monster that has exactly 1 of the same Type, Attribute, Level, ATK or DEF as the Deck monster from step 2, and banish that Deck monster face-down.
You can only activate 1 per turn.
When to use it
It’s a universal search if you build a “bridge”: a monster in your Deck that shares exactly one stat with your hand card and exactly one with your target.
Rulings in plain English
Banishing: The hand card and the bridge card aren’t banished at the same time. Adding the target and banishing the bridge are simultaneous.
