You can only use this effect of "Spright Elf" once per turn.

Explained
A Link-2 of 2 monsters including a Level/Rank/Link 2. Your opponent can't target monsters it points to with card effects. During the Main Phase, revive a Level 2 monster, or a Rank/Link 2 if your opponent controls a monster.
It can't be used in Advanced Format: it's Forbidden in the TCG as of the Sept 21, 2026 list.

Rulings in plain English
Link Material limit: Not treated as an effect, so it still applies when its effects are negated.
Targeting protection: It applies to your opponent as a player, not to the monsters themselves.
Revive: You choose the target when you activate. Rank/Link 2 targets are only allowed if your opponent controls a monster.
