During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, send 1 monster from your hand to the GY, then, send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY by card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by placing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand, field, and/or GY, including this card from your GY, on the bottom of the Deck in any order. You can only use each effect of "Tearlaments Scheiren" once per turn.

Explained

What it does

During your Main Phase, Special Summon it from your hand, send 1 monster from your hand to the GY, then send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY. If sent to the GY by a card effect, Fusion Summon by putting materials, including itself, on the bottom of the Deck. Limited to 1 copy in the TCG.

Play it when

In Tearlaments decks as a starter that fills the GY and Fusion Summons.

Common mistakes
  • Activating the summon with 2 or fewer cards in your Deck. You can't.

How it works

  • Ignition (your Main Phase, from the hand): Special Summon this card, and if you do, send 1 monster from your hand to the GY, then send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY.
  • Trigger (sent to the GY by a card effect): Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck by placing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand, field and/or GY, including this card from your GY, on the bottom of the Deck in any order. Not in the Damage Step.

Each effect is once per turn.

Status: Limited in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so you can run 1 copy.

Rulings in plain English

Summon effect: The summon and sending the hand monster are simultaneous; the 3-card mill comes after. You need 3+ cards in your Deck to activate; if fewer remain at resolution, send them all.

Fusion: Materials go to the Deck first, then the summon. A Fusion Monster used as material goes back to the Extra Deck, but can’t be the one summoned by that same effect.
