Explained
A Quick-Play Spell with two options: add a card that mentions "Dark Time Wizard" from your Deck and return this card to your hand in the End Phase, or toss a coin: call it right to destroy your opponent's monsters and deal half their combined original ATK; call it wrong to destroy all your monsters.
In decks with cards that mention Dark Time Wizard, mainly for the search, with the coin toss as a risky comeback option.
- Forgetting a wrong call destroys all your own monsters.
- Using either option in the Damage Step.
How it works
Choose one (each option once per turn):
- Search: Add 1 card that mentions “Dark Time Wizard” from your Deck to your hand, except “Dark Time Wizard”. During the End Phase, add 1 “Dark Time Wizard” from your GY to your hand.
- Coin toss: Toss a coin and call it. Right: destroy as many monsters your opponent controls as possible, and deal damage equal to half the combined original ATK of those monsters. Wrong: destroy all monsters you control.
When to use it
The search option replaces itself and returns to your hand, so it can be used again on a later turn.
Rulings in plain English
Does it mention itself? Yes, it counts as a card that mentions “Dark Time Wizard”.
Search option: The End Phase return happens even if the search failed, and doesn’t start a chain.
Coin option: Can be activated if either player has a monster. Destroying and damage are simultaneous, using printed ATK (“?” adds nothing).
Damage Step? Neither option.
