Explained
Special Summon it from your hand to your center Main Monster Zone. During your Main Phase it searches an "Elfnote" monster, and on your opponent's turn it can swap places with your center monster, then return a Level 6 or lower opposing monster to the hand.
In Elfnote decks as a free summon and search, and as disruption on your opponent's turn once it's out of the center zone.
- Using the swap effect while Lucina is in the center zone. It must be outside the center with another monster in the center.
- Expecting the bounce if the swap fails.
How it works
- Self-summon: Special Summon it from your hand to your center Main Monster Zone (once per turn this way).
- Your Main Phase: Add 1 “Elfnote” monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Elfnote Lucina”.
- Quick Effect (opponent’s turn): Switch this card’s location with the monster in your center Main Monster Zone, then you can return 1 Level 6 or lower monster your opponent controls to the hand.
Each of the last two effects is once per turn.
When to use it
Elfnote cards care about the center zone.
Rulings in plain English
Self-summon: Doesn’t start a chain; if negated you can try again that turn.
Swap effect: Needs Lucina outside the center and another monster in the center. It can’t be used in the Damage Step. If both are still there, swap them; if the swap works, you can then bounce (not simultaneously). If the center monster is unaffected, nothing happens.
