Explained

What it does

Neither it nor the monster it battles is destroyed by that battle. Special Summon it from your hand when a card is added to your opponent's hand outside the Draw Phase. On your opponent's Main Phase, Special Summon a monster from their GY to your field, banished when it leaves.

Play it when

In Hecahands decks to punish searches and borrow your opponent's monsters.

Common mistakes
  • Expecting the stolen monster to go to the GY when it leaves. It's banished.

How it works

  • Continuous: If this card battles a monster, neither can be destroyed by that battle.
  • Trigger, in your hand: If a card(s) is added to your opponent’s hand (except during the Draw Phase or Damage Step), Special Summon this card.
  • Quick Effect, during your opponent’s Main Phase: Target 1 monster in your opponent’s GY; Special Summon it to your field, but banish it when it leaves the field.

The last two effects are each once per turn.

Rulings in plain English

Battle: Applies to both monsters in the battle.

Banish clause: Applies while the summoned monster stays face-up in the Monster Zone.
