Explained

What it does

A Level 10 Fusion of 2+ Fusion Monsters with different Attributes. When Fusion Summoned, banish cards from the field and GYs up to the number of materials; with 3+ materials, also banish up to 3 cards from your opponent's Extra Deck. Its Quick Effect makes all other monsters one Attribute.

Play it when

In Invoked decks as a finisher that removes several cards at once.

Common mistakes
  • Using both effects in one turn. You can only use one Hyperinvoked Aeon effect per turn.

How it works

Materials: 2 or more Fusion Monsters with different Attributes.

You can only use 1 “Hyperinvoked Aeon” effect per turn:

  • When Fusion Summoned: Banish cards from the field and/or GYs, up to the number of monsters used as material. Then, if you used 3 or more materials, look at your opponent’s Extra Deck and banish up to 3 cards from it.
  • Quick Effect: Declare 1 Attribute; all other monsters on the field become that Attribute until the end of the turn.

When to use it

Changing Attributes can set up materials for Invoked Fusions, which often ask for specific Attributes.

Rulings in plain English

Banish effect: If you banish at least one card and used 3+ materials, you can then banish from the Extra Deck; not simultaneous.

Attribute effect: Applies to monsters face-up at resolution, not ones that arrive later. Not in the Damage Step.

Aleister the Invoker, Invocation.
