Explained

What it does

Fusion Summon using monsters from your hand; for an "Invoked" Fusion Monster, you can also banish monsters from your field and either GY as material. From the GY, shuffle it back to add a banished "Aleister the Invoker" to your hand.

Play it when

In Invoked decks as the core Fusion Spell, using your opponent's GY as material.

How it works

  • On activation: Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using monsters from your hand. If summoning an “Invoked” Fusion Monster, you can also banish monsters from your field and/or either GY as material.
  • From the GY (your Main Phase, once per turn): Target 1 of your face-up banished “Aleister the Invoker”; shuffle this card into the Deck, and if you do, add that card to your hand.

When to use it

Invoked Fusions often need just Aleister plus one monster of an Attribute, and Invocation can take that second monster from your opponent’s GY. Its GY effect loops it with Aleister.

Rulings in plain English

Fusion: Materials first, then the summon, including when banishing. If hand materials go elsewhere, the summon still happens.

GY effect: Shuffling and adding are simultaneous.

Aleister the Invoker, Invocation - “Sword”.
