Explained

What it does

A Pendulum Monster always treated as "Elfnote". In the Pendulum Zone, destroy it to draw 2 and discard 1 when a Power Patron or Elfnote monster is summoned. As a monster, banish the top 3 cards of your Deck to destroy it and summon "Junora the Power Patron of Tuning". When added face-up to the Extra Deck, it recovers a Power Patron or Elfnote card.

Play it when

In Elfnote and Power Patron decks as a draw engine and a way to summon Junora.

Common mistakes
  • Using the Pendulum effect in the Damage Step.

How it works

This card is always treated as an “Elfnote” card.

Pendulum effect: If a “Power Patron” or “Elfnote” monster is Special Summoned to your field while this card is in your Pendulum Zone (except during the Damage Step), destroy this card, draw 2 cards, then discard 1. Once per turn.

Monster effects (each once per turn):

  • Banish the top 3 cards of your Deck face-down; destroy this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Junora the Power Patron of Tuning” from your Extra Deck (treated as a Synchro Summon).
  • If this card is added to your Extra Deck face-up, add 1 “Power Patron” or “Elfnote” card from your face-up Extra Deck or GY to your hand, except “Junoldo”.

When to use it

Destroying a Pendulum Monster sends it face-up to the Extra Deck, which triggers its recovery effect. So both the Pendulum draw and the Junora summon lead into another card.

Rulings in plain English
