Explained

What it does

A Link-3 of 2+ Effect Monsters. Your opponent can't target your Link-4 or higher monsters with card effects, and they can't be destroyed by battle. With a "Firewall" Link Monster, banish Link Monsters with Link Ratings totaling 3 to revive it. Forbidden in the TCG.

Play it when

It's Forbidden in the TCG, so it can't be used in Advanced Format.

Common mistakes
  • Thinking it protects itself. It's only Link-3.

How it works

Materials: 2 or more Effect Monsters.

  • Continuous: Your opponent can’t target Link-4 or higher monsters you control with card effects, also they can’t be destroyed by battle.
  • Quick Effect (in the GY, once per turn): If you control a “Firewall” Link Monster, banish Link Monsters from your GY whose combined Link Ratings equal exactly 3; Special Summon this card. Banish it when it leaves the field.

Status: Forbidden in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so it can’t be used in Advanced Format. It’s new to the list.

Rulings in plain English

Targeting protection: Applies to your opponent as a player, not to the monsters.

Battle protection: Applies to your Link-4+ monsters.

Revive: Not in the Damage Step. It’s banished when it leaves the field as long as it stays in the Monster Zone after this summon.
