How it works
Materials: “Red-Eyes Black Dragon” + 1 monster that mentions “Dark Time Wizard”. It must be Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by Tributing 1 face-up monster on either field during a turn a monster was destroyed by “Dark Time Wizard”. Only once per turn either way.
- Continuous: Unaffected by your opponent’s activated Spell or monster effects.
- When Special Summoned: Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower monster from your hand or GY.
When to use it
Dark Time Wizard’s coin toss destroys your opponent’s monsters, which unlocks Exceed’s alternate summon, and you can even Tribute your opponent’s monster for it.
Rulings in plain English
Alternate summon: Not an effect, no chain, only in your Main Phase. It’s not a Fusion Summon, though the Tributed monster counts as material. Can’t be revived by other cards.
