Explained
From your hand or GY, return 3 other cards from the GYs or face-up banishment (including a card that mentions "Light and Darkness Ritual") to the bottom of the Deck to Special Summon it. When it's sent to the GY, send a Ritual Spell from your hand or Deck to search a Ritual Monster named on it.
In Light and Darkness Ritual decks to summon from the hand or GY and to find Ritual Monsters.
- Choosing targets without a card that mentions "Light and Darkness Ritual".
How it works
- From hand or GY (Ignition): Target 3 other cards in the GYs and/or face-up banishment, including a card that mentions “Light and Darkness Ritual”. Place them on the bottom of the Deck in any order, and if you do, Special Summon this card.
- If sent to the GY: Send 1 Ritual Spell from your hand or Deck to the GY, then add 1 Ritual Monster named on that Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.
Each effect is once per turn.
When to use it
It can recycle cards from both Graveyards while coming back itself, and its second effect turns a Ritual Spell into the matching Ritual Monster.
Rulings in plain English
Summon effect: Returning the cards and the summon count as simultaneous. If some targets are gone, the rest are still returned. If Skull Archfiend has moved, the cards are still returned but it isn’t summoned.
Search effect: It can be used in the Damage Step. You still search even if the Ritual Spell you sent is no longer in the GY.
