Explained
Special Summon 1 monster from your hand with its effects negated; then, if your opponent controls an Extra Deck monster, you can Special Summon a "Synchron" monster from your Deck. You can activate it from your hand if only your opponent controls monsters. From the GY, banish it to Synchro Summon.
In Synchro decks, especially going second against an Extra Deck board, to get two monsters and then Synchro Summon on either turn.
- Forgetting the restriction: until the end of your next turn, you can only Special Summon Synchro Monsters from the Extra Deck.
- Activating it from the hand when you control a monster.
How it works
- On activation: Special Summon 1 monster from your hand, with its effects negated. Then, if your opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, you can Special Summon 1 “Synchron” monster from your Deck. Until the end of the next turn after it resolves, you can only Special Summon Synchro Monsters from the Extra Deck.
- From the GY: Banish it; immediately after this resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster.
Hand activation: If only your opponent controls a monster, you can activate it from your hand. You can only activate 1 “Synchro Emergency” per turn.
When to use it
The full sequence gives you two monsters on your opponent’s turn, then a Synchro Summon from the GY effect. It released in the TCG in September 2026.
