When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY. If this card is sent to the GY by card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by placing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand, field, and/or GY, including this card from your GY, on the bottom of the Deck in any order. You can only use each effect of "Tearlaments Havnis" once per turn.

Explained
When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field, Special Summon it from your hand and send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY. If it's sent to the GY by a card effect, Fusion Summon by shuffling materials, including it, to the bottom of the Deck.
In Tearlaments decks as a Limited card (1 copy): it fills the GY on your opponent's turn and turns into a Fusion Summon.
- Activating it with 2 or fewer cards in your Deck. You can't.
- Using either effect in the Damage Step.
How it works
Status: Limited in the TCG (Sept 21, 2026 list), so you can run 1 copy.
- Quick Effect, from the hand: When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field, Special Summon this card, and if you do, send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY.
- If sent to the GY by a card effect: Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster by placing its materials from your hand, field, and/or GY, including this card from your GY, on the bottom of the Deck in any order.
Each effect is once per turn.
Rulings in plain English
Summon effect: Chain directly to your opponent’s monster effect. Not in the Damage Step. The summon and the mill happen at the same time. You need 3+ cards in your Deck to activate; if there are 2 or fewer when it resolves, send them all.
Fusion effect: Not in the Damage Step. Materials go back first, then you Fusion Summon; not simultaneous. You can return a Fusion Monster as material to the Extra Deck, but you can’t summon that same monster with this effect.
