Card text
Send 1 "Medius the Pure" from your Deck to the GY; look at the top card of your opponent's Deck, and place it on the top or bottom of the Deck. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 face-up monster you control and declare 1 Monster Type and 1 Attribute; that monster becomes that Type and Attribute, until the end of your opponent's turn. Explained
Send "Medius the Pure" from your Deck to the GY, then look at the top card of your opponent's Deck and put it on the top or bottom. From the GY, banish it to change a monster you control to a declared Type and Attribute until the end of your opponent's turn.
In Power Patron decks to put Medius in the GY for its revive effect, and to fix Types or Attributes for other effects.
- Declaring the same Type and Attribute the monster already has. At least one must differ.
How it works
- On activation: Send 1 “Medius the Pure” from your Deck to the GY; look at the top card of your opponent’s Deck and place it on the top or bottom.
- From the GY: Banish this card, then target 1 face-up monster you control and declare 1 Monster Type and 1 Attribute; it becomes that Type and Attribute until the end of your opponent’s turn.
Each effect is once per turn.
When to use it
Medius the Pure can revive itself from the GY, and Type/Attribute changes help with cards like Artmage Diactorus that count different Types.
Rulings in plain English
Top card: Only you see it.
Type/Attribute change: At least one of the declared Type or Attribute must differ from the monster’s. Ends if it leaves the field or turns face-down.
