Explained
A Level 3 LIGHT Illusion. With an "Aleister" monster on your field or in your GY, Special Summon it from your hand. When Special Summoned, Set "Invocation" or a Spell that mentions it. When your opponent responds to your Fusion Monster's effect, banish it to negate and banish their effect.
In Invoked decks to find Invocation and protect your Fusion Monsters' effects.
- Using a face-down Aleister to summon it. It must be face-up on the field, or in the GY.
How it works
- Self-summon: If you have an “Aleister” monster on your field or in your GY, Special Summon this card from your hand.
- If Special Summoned: Set 1 “Invocation”, or 1 Spell that mentions it, from your Deck.
- Quick Effect: When your opponent activates a card or effect in response to your Fusion Monster’s effect activation, banish this card you control; negate that effect and banish it.
Each effect is once per turn.
Rulings in plain English
Aleister condition: A face-down Aleister in the Monster Zone, or an Aleister monster card in the Spell & Trap Zone, doesn’t count.
Set effect: Usable in the Damage Step. “Mentions” means the Spell’s text names “Invocation” specifically.
Negate: Chain directly to your opponent’s response. Not in the Damage Step. Banishing Virakam and negating happen at the same time.
