As material in decks with good targets at 1500 DEF or less, so using it finds your next card.

How it works
If Witch of the Black Forest is sent from the field to the GY, add 1 monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand. For the rest of the turn, you can’t activate cards with that name or their effects. Once per turn.
When to use it
It’s the DEF-based twin of Sangan, from the same 2002 era. Many monsters have low DEF, so it fits decks Sangan doesn’t.
Rulings in plain English
Optional? No, it must activate when the condition is met, even in the Damage Step.
Normal Monsters? Can be searched.
Restriction: Applies only if the effect resolves, from then until the end of the turn. You can still Normal Summon the card, and effects that don’t activate still apply. A searched Pendulum Monster can’t be placed in the Pendulum Zone that turn.
