Explained

What it does

A Fusion of "Fallen of Albaz" + 1 or more Dragons, or summoned by sending those from either field to the GY. It attacks monsters once per material used. In the End Phase of the turn it went to the GY, add a "Polymerization" or "Fusion" Normal Spell.

Play it when

In Albaz decks, using Dragons on your opponent's field as material, then cashing it in for its End Phase search.

Common mistakes
  • Using a face-down monster from your opponent's side. Theirs must be face-up.
  • Expecting the End Phase search if it left the GY first.

How it works

Materials: 1 “Fallen of Albaz” + 1 or more Dragon monsters. It can’t be used as Fusion Material. Must be Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by sending those cards from any Monster Zones to the GY.

  • Continuous: It can attack monsters a number of times each Battle Phase, up to the number of materials used for it.
  • End Phase, in the GY (once per turn): If it was sent there this turn, add 1 “Polymerization” Normal Spell or “Fusion” Normal Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Rulings in plain English

Alternate summon: Not an effect; no chain. Send the materials first, then summon it; not simultaneous. It isn’t a Fusion Summon, but the monsters sent count as Fusion Materials, so you can’t send a monster that can’t be used as Fusion Material (like another Alba-Lenatus). Your own materials can be face-down; your opponent’s must be face-up. Tokens can’t be used. Cards sent this way aren’t sent by an effect.

Both methods are proper summons. Effects that ignore summoning conditions can also summon it.

“Can’t be used as Fusion Material”: Not an effect, so it still applies if its effects are negated.

End Phase search: It must stay in the GY until the End Phase. If it’s sent there during the End Phase, you can still use it that End Phase.

Fallen of Albaz, Polymerization.
