Explained
A Fusion of an Illusion monster + a LIGHT Spellcaster. Other "Azamina" monsters deal double battle damage. When your opponent activates something, Tribute it to negate that effect. When destroyed, add a "Sinful Spoils" Trap from your Deck.
In Azamina and Sinful Spoils decks as a negation that replaces itself with a Trap.
- Expecting the Trap search when you Tribute it for its negate. Tributing isn't destruction.
How it works
Materials: 1 Illusion monster + 1 LIGHT Spellcaster monster.
- Continuous: Battle damage your “Azamina” monsters, except this card, inflict to your opponent is doubled.
- Quick Effect: When your opponent activates a card or effect, Tribute this card to negate that effect.
- If destroyed by battle or card effect: Add 1 “Sinful Spoils” Trap from your Deck to your hand.
Each of the last two effects is once per turn.
When to use it
It’s a one-time negation on the field, and if your opponent destroys it instead, you get a Trap.
Rulings in plain English
Negate: Chained directly to your opponent’s activation. Not in the Damage Step.
Search: Usable from wherever it lands, including in the Damage Step.
