Explained
A Level 8 Synchro. During the Main Phase, banish it until the End Phase to Special Summon "Fallen of Albaz" or a Level 4 or lower monster that mentions it from your Deck or GY. From the GY, it shuffles itself, a Level 8 Fusion and a card on the field into the Deck.
In Fallen of Albaz and Branded decks to bring out Albaz on your opponent's turn, and later to remove a card on the field from the GY.
- Using the first effect outside the Main Phase.
- Losing the card in the End Phase. If you have no free Main Monster Zone, it goes to the GY instead of returning.
How it works
Materials: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuners.
- Quick Effect (Main Phase): Banish this card until the End Phase, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Fallen of Albaz” or 1 Level 4 or lower monster that mentions it from your Deck or GY.
- From the GY: Target 1 Level 8 Fusion Monster in your GY or banishment and 1 card on the field. Shuffle both of them and this card into the Deck.
Each effect is once per turn.
When to use it
Summoning Albaz on your opponent’s Main Phase lets you Fusion Summon on their turn with cards that use Albaz. The GY effect removes a card on the field without destroying or targeting it as the only target, and reuses a Fusion Monster by returning it to the Extra Deck.
Rulings in plain English
First effect: Banishing it and the summon count as simultaneous. You can use it even with five monsters in your Main Monster Zones. If it’s face-down, it’s banished face-down and returns face-down in the End Phase. With no free Main Monster Zone in the End Phase, it goes to the GY.
Second effect: All targets must still be there, and Ecclesia must still be in the GY, or nothing happens. A face-down target is still shuffled in. If one target is unaffected, the others are still shuffled in. If a Set Quick-Play or Trap you targeted is activated in the same chain, nothing is shuffled.
