Explained

What it does

A Fusion of an "Aleister" monster + a FIRE or WIND monster. During the Main Phase, revive a Level 6 or lower monster from either GY in Defense Position with its effects negated. From the GY, banish it and other materials to Fusion Summon an "Invoked" Fusion Monster.

Play it when

In Invoked decks as an extender that also sets up a second Fusion from the GY.

Common mistakes
  • Using the revive outside the Main Phase.

How it works

Materials: 1 “Aleister” monster + 1 FIRE or WIND monster.

  • Quick Effect (Main Phase): Target 1 Level 6 or lower monster in either GY; Special Summon it to your field in Defense Position, but negate its effects.
  • Ignition, in the GY: Fusion Summon 1 “Invoked” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck by banishing this card from your GY and monsters from your field or GY as material.

Each effect is once per turn.

Rulings in plain English

Negation: The revived monster’s effects stay negated only while it’s face-up in the Monster Zone.

Fusion: Materials are banished first, then the Fusion Summon happens; not simultaneous. If another effect stops a material from being banished, the Fusion Summon still happens as long as it left where it was.

Aleister the Invoker, Invocation, Hyperinvoked Aeon.
