Explained
Always treated as a "Power Patron" card. If a Power Patron card is on the field, Special Summon it from your hand and search a "Theorealize" Spell/Trap. When a monster is banished face-up, search an "Ars Magna" card or banish it to summon a "Diactorus" monster from the Extra Deck.
In Power Patron and Ars Magna decks, which banish monsters often, to chain into more searches and summons.
- Expecting the second effect when a Token is banished. It doesn't trigger.
- Using the second effect in the Damage Step.
How it works
This card is always treated as a “Power Patron” card.
- From the hand (Ignition): If a “Power Patron” card is on the field, Special Summon this card, then you can add 1 “Theorealize” Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand.
- Trigger: If a monster is banished face-up (except during the Damage Step), choose one:
- Add 1 “Ars Magna” card from your Deck to your hand.
- Banish this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 “Diactorus” monster from your Extra Deck.
Each effect is once per turn.
When to use it
It counts as a Power Patron card itself, so it supports its own summon condition alongside other Power Patron cards. It released in the TCG on October 8, 2026.
Rulings in plain English
First effect: Summon first; if that works, you can search. Not simultaneous.
Second effect: Choose the option when activating. It triggers when a Monster Card that’s a monster both before and after is banished while Medius is in the Monster Zone; not for Tokens. Banishing Medius and the summon count as simultaneous.
Is it a Power Patron card even if negated? Yes.
