This card can be used to Ritual Summon "Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos" or "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish monsters from your GY, whose total Levels equal or exceed its Level. If this card is in your GY: You can add this card and 1 card that mentions "Light and Darkness Ritual" from your GY to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Light and Darkness Ritual" once per turn.

Explained
A Ritual Spell for "Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos" or "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness". Tribute monsters from your hand or field and/or banish monsters from your GY whose total Levels equal or exceed the Ritual Monster's. From the GY, it returns to your hand along with a card that mentions it.
In Light and Darkness Ritual decks as the main Ritual Spell, recycling itself and another card from the GY.
- Forgetting it counts as a card that mentions "Light and Darkness Ritual" itself.
- Using the GY effect without another card that mentions it in your GY. Nothing happens.
How it works
- On activation: Ritual Summon “Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos” or “Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness” from your hand. Tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish monsters from your GY instead, so their total Levels equal or exceed the Ritual Monster’s Level.
- From the GY: Add this card and 1 card that mentions “Light and Darkness Ritual” from your GY to your hand. Once per turn.
When to use it
Using the GY as a Tribute source saves cards in hand. Its GY effect brings itself back plus another support card for repeated Ritual Summons.
